Shawn Steel is a CFP® practitioner and advises clients on retirement planning, tax planning, investments, and federal employee financial disclosure requirements. He also supervises preparation of financial disclosure forms for federal employees and advises clients retiring from federal service on the retirement process. Shawn has served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Professional Standards and has been quoted in NARFE magazine. Previously, Shawn practiced law in private practice and a federal agency setting.

Andrew Chaffee, CFP®
Financial Planner - Apella Wealth
Andrew is a CFP® professional who advises clients on retirement planning, tax strategies, portfolio construction, and employee benefits. He has a special focus on helping transitioning military personnel navigate their financial future. Before Apella, Andrew spent nine years in the defense contracting industry in roles spanning sales, business development, and operations. He also served seven years as a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officer. Andrew holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Notre Dame.
